Anthesis is built so that nothing you do in it leaves your phone. This page says exactly what the app stores, where, and what it does not do.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below is kept in the app's own storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Your urge ratings before and after each round, with the date, length and score of the round.
- The start date you set for your clean-day count, and any slips you log.
- Your progress through the puzzle ponds.
- Your settings, such as whether sound and music are on.
If your phone backs up to iCloud or to a computer, this data is included in that backup under Apple's terms, in the same way as any other app's data. We have no access to it.
What the app does not do
- It has no account, sign-in or email collection.
- It does not collect analytics, usage statistics or crash reports through any third-party service.
- It does not show advertising and contains no advertising software.
- It does not use tracking of any kind, and it does not share data with anyone.
- It does not ask for your name, contact details, location, photos or health data.
- It makes no network connections of its own. It works fully offline.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app from your phone deletes everything it stored. There is nothing held elsewhere to request or remove.
Children
The app is rated for ages 13 and up and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If the app ever starts to collect anything, this page will say so before that version is released, and the app's privacy details on the App Store will be updated to match.
